We use a number of technologies to develop web applications, and we pick the best ones for the job at hand:

• We primarily use PHP as a scripting solution running on a stack that can include Nginx and PHP-FPM - the fastest way to run PHP on the planet.
• Use existing third party services in the cloud to minimise single points of failure
• Database sources can include MySQL, Postgresql, CouchDB and MongoDB, depending on the project requirements.
• Our frontend work is developed with standardised HTML, XHTML and CSS and we aim to get it working in all major, modern browsers
• We enhance website functionality using Javascript libraries such as jQuery
• Our servers run Linux and FreeBSD in monitored datacentres - secure, stable Open Source systems.
